Every Fractional CPO Provider That Publishes a Price
Across 104 providers offering a fractional Chief Product Officer, exactly 15 publish a price, and this page lists all of them: the provider, the published floor, the structure and the market, from the open dataset. My own practice is row eleven, which is the only honest place to write this directory from.

Rows come from the Fractional Rates Index, compiled 2026 from each provider's own published pages; the seven providers with full profiles on this site were re-verified on their own pages in 2026. Floors are published starting prices, not quotes. My row is first-party.
01
How was this list built, and what counts?
From the open dataset this site publishes: 938 offerings across 1,127 fractional executive providers, filtered to providers with a CPO-role offering and any published price, floor or ceiling, on their own pages. Fifteen qualify. Providers whose pages could not be read are counted as non-publishing, so the list is a floor.
Two rows carry honest caveats rather than removal: Ross Boardman's own page heading reads fractional CTO despite the dataset's CPO row, and Crucial Recruiting's scope is fractional recruiting; both are kept because the dataset records them and removing rows quietly would break the method. Read the structure column before shortlisting anyone.
02
What does the published-price minority tell you?
It splits by model, not size: the boutiques and solo operators publish, the networks and placement firms do not. Of the seven providers this site has verified in depth, every operator-delivered practice publishes a price and every network publishes none. Transparency tracks who delivers the work personally.
The pattern has a buyer-side use: a published price is a commitment device, quoting everyone the same number, and its absence means the quote will be calibrated to you. Neither is disqualifying; both are information, and the middle band of the published set, $2,000 to $10,000 a month, is your anchor either way.
03
How should you use the floors?
As starting prices, never as totals. A floor with a plus sign moves with scope, cadence and stage; the dataset records what each provider publishes, including bands and qualifiers, and the profile pages on this site verify the seven largest sellers claim by claim, with what each floor includes and omits.
The deeper cuts live on the rates family: retainers, hourly, day rates, and the currency markets each have a page with full distributions and sample sizes. This directory is the who; those pages are the how much, and the calculator turns any quote into a comparison in seconds.
04
Which of the fifteen have full verified profiles?
Seven, so far: Toptal, Knex, Cerius and Crosslake from the network side, and Breakwater, PMGuru and Summit from the boutique side, each verified claim by claim from their own pages, with what they publish and what they leave unsaid recorded honestly.
The network profiles cover providers that publish no CPO price and so sit outside this table while competing in the same category; the boutique profiles are rows two, eight and thirteen above. More profiles follow as verification runs complete, and the dataset refreshes with the market.
05
Why is my own row in the table?
Because a directory of published prices written by an unpublished seller would be marketing wearing a research costume. My engagement is row eleven: $4,950 a month for 25 hours, contract standard public, index row identical to what any buyer sees in the raw file.
That is also the standard this site holds the market to: sourced claims, printed sample sizes, and no number without a page behind it. If a provider belongs on this list and is missing, the dataset accepts corrections; the methodology page explains how rows are verified and updated.

FAQ
Questions buyers ask
Every row comes from the Fractional Rates Index, compiled 2026 from providers' own published pages; profiled providers were re-verified directly. Rows with scope caveats are kept with their caveats stated rather than silently removed. My row is first-party, and the raw data is public.
Fifteen worldwide, of 104 providers offering the role in the dataset: 13.5%. Twelve publish in USD, one in GBP, one in EUR, and the remainder of the market prices in the sales call.
The published floors on this page run from a few hundred dollars a month at the productized edge to $25,000, with the market's middle band at $2,000 to $10,000 a month and my own engagement at $4,950.
The split tracks delivery model: boutiques and solo operators publish, networks and placement firms do not. An unpublished price can be calibrated to each buyer, which is exactly why published rows are worth weighing as signal.
No: they are published floors and bands, recorded exactly as each provider states them, plus signs and qualifiers included. Scope, cadence and stage move every one of them upward from the floor.
The dataset was compiled in 2026 from each provider's own pages, and the seven profiled providers were re-verified in 2026 with zero price drift found. The raw file and methodology are public on this site.
Bring your shortlist; thirty minutes places it against every published floor in the market.
